Biostatistics faculty members attended the conference and some gave presentations:
- Arman Oganisian, Ph.D. chaired the Recent Developments in Probabilistic Machine Learning Methods for Causal Inference session. Arman also gave a talk titled “Nonparametric Bayesian estimation of optimal sequential treatment rules with missing time-varying confounders”
- Joe Hogan, Ph.D. gave a talk titled, “A flexible approach for causal inference with multiple treatments and clustered survival outcome”
- Constantine Gatsonis, Ph.D. gave a talk titled, “ Designing a new generation of studies of screening: Experience from the TMIST trial of breast cancer screening”
