Roberta De Vito co-authors book “Bayesian Statistics, New Generations, New Approaches”

The book includes the contributions of Bayesian methods and approaches presented at the 6th Bayesian Young Statisticians Meeting (BAYSM) 2022 conference in Montreal, Canada.

Roberta De Vito, Ph.D.

Roberta De Vito, Ph.D. Thomas J. and Alice M. Tisch Assistant Professor of Biostatistics and Data Science, co-authored a book titled, “Bayesian Statistics, New Generations, New Approaches”. The book includes the contributions of Bayesian methods and approaches presented at the 6th Bayesian Young Statisticians Meeting (BAYSM) 2022 conference in Montreal, Canada. The BAYSM is part of the junior section of the International Society for Bayesian Analysis (j-ISBA).

The book includes a collection of peer-reviewed research presented at the conference that is diverse. Which aims to serve as a catalyst for continued advancements in Bayesian statistics and encourage collaborations. The book also includes a chapter co-authored by Ph.D. student Blake Hansen. The chapter is titled, “A Variational Bayes Approach to Factor Analysis”.
