Congratulations to Biostatistics Adjunct faculty member Joseph Cappelleri for receiving the 2025 Achievement (Industry) Award: Applied Public Health Statistics (APHS) Section of the American Public Health Association (APHA). Established in 1978, the APHS Achievement Award recognizes a distinguished career in statistical research and applications in public health, with a focus on academia, government, and industry. Since 2015, it began to rotate among these three fields. This year, the award honored Joe Cappelleri, a statistician from industry who has made outstanding contributions to public health statistics and data applications.
