Congratulations to Roberta DeVito who won the American Statistical Association (ASA) 2022 W. J. Youden Award in Interlaboratory Testing Award. The award was presented to DeVito and her collaborators at the 2022 Joint Statistical Meeting that took place in Washington, DC.
The award is for the paper titled, “Multi-study Factor Analysis”. The paper aims to combine multiple studies, and understand the cross-study reproducibility of signal in multivariate data. The collaborators on this paper include: Ruggero Bellio (University of Udine), Lorenzo Trippa (Harvard University), and Giovanni Parmigiani (Harvard University).
About the award: The W. J. Youden Award in Interlaboratory Testing was established in 1985 to recognize the authors of publications that make outstanding contributions to the design and/or analysis of interlaboratory tests or describe ingenious approaches to the planning and evaluation of data from such tests.
