Ying Ma, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Biostatistics receives the American Cancer Society Institutional Research Grant Pilot award for her pilot project: “Di-ciphering the cell-type composition and gene co-expression network for studying tumor micro-environment with spatial transcriptomics”.
This project aims to leverage spatial transcriptomics datasets to provide crucial insights into the cellular and molecular architecture of tumors. Our objective is to unravel heterogeneous gene co-expression networks and delineate spatial relevant cell type compositions through the statistical and computational methods developed by the Ma Lab.
